Recent Episodes

Has anybody else run into troubles listening to the recent episodes on Apple Podcasts? I’m unable to download the eps, and about midway through each episode the podcast starts over multiple times at the beginning.

Pod bay seems to be working so far this morning, and I got some success on the ironradio site earlier. I’m open to suggestions if anyone has a favorite way to listen to the podcast!

Thanks for letting us know. Somebody mentioned that if you unsubscribe and then subscribe again to the feed on iTunes, that should fix it. Let us know! - Mike

Thanks! That did the trick on the episode starting over. Still can’t download at the moment, but I bet that’s an Apple problem.

I haven’t been able to listen to or download back episodes for a while on the iTunes either. I have listened to most of the episodes prior to the switch last month to the new website and iTunes account and only have episodes 110-154 left in the backlog and the new ones to go. Likewise experiencing the episodes starting over even though the time count keeps rolling. We tried subscribing from Gaby’s phone and it wouldn’t let her play through or download either. I unsubscribed and resubscribed to the show this morning and lost count of the episodes I had listened to and which I had left. We were able to listen through most of episode 154 with it restarting a couple times but finding it’s way back to where it was before restarting completely about 3/4 of the way through.

I was happy to see 4 episodes pop up. But on all of them having troubles downloading and then repeating. I use Apple. I'll try to unsubscribe and subscribe to see what happens.
Again glad to see more podcasts again, I was going through withdrawal.

I was just going to post this either on Facebook or here. I saw on podcast addict that there is a new RSS feed...... so I tried to download the latest episodes and also the old ones I've reached in the past, but any and every download fails... old or new


On the plus side, I've listened to a lot more metal lately.

Hi guys, I'm Jason and I've been doing the web development work on the new site and RSS feed. Apologies for the trouble with the Apple feed, it was a problem with the way the server was serving up the mp3 files for the app. It's fixed now and everything should be working as expected, but feel free to let me know if you still have trouble. You might have to give the podcast app a minute to refresh the RSS feed before you see it working.

Looks like it’s up and running for me, thank you Jason! I unfollowed and re-followed on Apple Podcasts again, and the feed is updated and lets me download and play episodes again.

I'm not an apple user. I just checked and it's working on Google podcasts! I can download or stream them just fine.
